Artist Color Wheel

This is very helpful and I carry this Pocket Color wheel with me.

On the wheel it shows me
Color definitions:
Primary colors:
Red, yellow and blue-cannot be mixed from any other colors.
This isn't just a guide to mixing color, it helps me with what color makeup to wear with an outfit. For example, your in the mood to wear purple/violet eyeshadow for your outfit you could wear a yellow top and a pair of blue jeans.
The result of putting opposite colors together is either a clashing or loud feeling, depending on which pair you choose. Below are the opposites for primary colors:

Blue is the opposite of Orange

Yellow is the opposite of Purple

Red is the opposite of Green

Black is the opposite of White

Eyelash/eyebrow tinting workshop

Hi there,

I recently did this workshop here in Calgary Alberta Canada at the Beauty Depot. The Esthetics's Institute Training Center. Eyelash and eyebrow tinting workshop, it was a great class. This workshop provided me with the knowledge and step by step procedure of the effective and safe application of lash and brow tint. The tint that was used in class is called Thuya. Thuya tint is safe, Canadian approved and leaves your lashes or brows looking fuller and darker. Tint contains no coal tar, which prevents burning and irritation to your client.
After the workshop was done and did everything i was told, received a certificate that same day!! Yes, I am happy, now, I am a certified and bonafide.
I would also like to thank my daughter Miss Joyce Aaliyah for being my model that day. Love ya. Have a great day everyone!!
Cheers,
Roberta

Being a Freelance Makeup Artist

It's not easy being a freelance makeup artist. I have to invest my own money into buying products such as makeup, brushes, kits etc.. It does pay off in the end, being a makeup artist can be a secure and well paying position such as working in the entertainment industry, modeling and photography world. I really enjoy the freedom of being my own boss with flexible hours. Being a makeup artist was a good choice for me, it lets me use my creativity to make other people look good and feel good about themselves! Now that spring is here hope to have more work.:)
